what are local drug treatment options for low or no income addicts?

Sean T asked:

I started using meth again after a substancial period of sobriety. I want to get off the dope and back into the program though it seems very hopeless doing this from the streets. Im currently in east mesa but willing to relocate anywhere that I need to go.

Check with the local health office. There are programs available to you. I’m proud of you. You can beat this thing. I know you can. Good luck and God bless. BTW, prayer doesn’t cost anything and believe me it helps. I’ll be praying for you.

Greeting & I truly understand your pain, and suffering. My recommendation for get off “Meth” is to go to as many “Meetin” as U can. Now, this means you’re going to be “inside” some NA, or AA meeting place 24/7 365 days. If you are sincere about get off Meth being with Clean & Sober recovering addicts is all the HELP you’ll ever need……. :0)
You can do it, I know U can, I did it, and so CAN U.
Good Luck!!

I have no idea where east mesa is, but if you are in the United States, get on a computer and contact “Mission Teens”. It sounds like it is for teenagers, but it is for adults. It is a free program for men and women who have no where else to go. My 40 year old son went to one in Tuscalusa, Alabama and it helped him. There are several located over the United States. It is an 8-10 months program and is a Christian based program. The one in Alabama reminded me of a Boy Scout camp, in that it was rustic. Don’t expect great accommodations, but the folks there will help you cope and get sober. Don’t hesitate, call now and get help. Good luck and God bless!
