Is CBT a kind of counseling or a medication? I’ve come across this term during my research on drug rehabs. Do you have some useful information that I can use for my search?

I’m looking for drug rehabs because I’m doing a survey regarding various drugs and the life of the people who had gotten themselves addicted to these drugs.

I don’t know how to do this but I really need to do it for a friend of mine. I don’t know what possessed her to just try drugs. Now she’s addicted. She has already lost some of her friends, and yet she won’t stop taking the drug. I guess it’s because heroin’s really addictive. I want to help her but the only way I could think of to help her is to find a drug rehab for her, and I don’t even know how to do this. Any suggestions?
