Last year was the worst year of my life. My mom died of breast cancer, my boyfriend of 2 years dumped me for my best friend, my father became an alcoholic, I lost in the school presidential elections and my pet hamster Stewie died (he was murdered by our neighbor’s tabby cat). It was my all-time low and I didn’t know what to do. I felt useless, unloved, unworthy and abandoned. In short, I was a loser. Then at a party, I discovered the wonders of Lortab. It was a pain reliever and it made me feel good. I found myself craving for the temporary happiness it gives me. It was fun for a while until I felt it’s negative effects.
