does the court usally send someone to long term rehab for failing one drug test in 2 years while on probation?

he has no previous drug charges on his record. If not what would be some other things they may do like maybe have to attend class on drug abuse any answers would help he is only 3 or 4 classes away from being able to teach meetings would that be considered, in this program they let recovering addits teach classes
