Alcohol Rehab: Social Model of Recovery in Drug and Alcohol Rehab

Miramar Treatment 866.382.5442 | www.miramarlagunabeach.com The Social Model of Recovery is derived from Alcoholics Anonymous and includes the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions Philosophy. It adopts the belief that an individual, who is recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, must take responsibility for his/her own recovery, not in word only, but in action. The Social Model of Recovery utilizes practices that reflect and promote this philosophy with the goal of having clients govern themselves, within the treatment environment, with a focus on personal responsibility. www.miramarlagunabeach.com
