Wow, God works miracles indeed. He used to be a regular visitor and spiritual advisor to Bush I read?
Doesn’t anyone want the points with a good answer?

God can and does work miracles, but I believe Mr. Haggard needs a year of supervision.

Pretty amazing, huh? I think it’s ridiculous. It’s a cop-out and a slap in the face of gay people and people who have problems with substance dependence. This aggravates the crap out of me on two levels. First, I believe your sexual orientation cannot be changed. Second, people with substance addictions are not “cured” in three weeks. It’s a very long, uphill battle. I hate this recent trend of celebs and people in the public eye who get caught doing something wrong so they go into “rehab” for a week and are suddenly “cured”. It’s a publicity ploy and it makes light of a serious problem that many people struggle with. Shame on these money-hungry people. Lohan is doing it. She doesn’t take it seriously. She waltzes out whenever she wants to go have lunch, get her car fixed, visit a movie set or go clubbing with Hilton.
