Question by Carrie: My sister is extreme?
My sister is a wonderful person when she isn’t trying to get high or drunk. I can’t deal with her anymore because for one I have a daughter to take care of and I do not get high or participate in any illegal activities, I drink occasionally but not like she does. I don’t want to deal with her drama so I feel like I should avoid her when she calls. When she calls me she always wants something like a ride somewhere or to come over and get drunk and I don’t want any drama to go on at my house ! I am 22 years old and she is 20 years old, I love her of course and want to help her but she has been like this since she was 17.. What would you do if this was your sister or brother? Question by Janey: Mother addicted to narcotics?
I live with my mother and grandfather currently. We both believe my mother is addicted to Opana and Oxycodone. (Both Opiate Narcotics) I took them away from her because they’re making her suffer the symptoms of a stroke because of the major side effects. (Dizziness, Slurred speech, trouble finding words, and confusion) She freaked out on me and threatened to hit me and chop my neck into two.. I was going to call the police because she was getting so violent. My grandfather said not to, so I didn’t. I am NOT going to let this one slide this time. Who can I call to take her into rehab or take her into some type of drug addiction program?

Also, she probably won’t be willing, so will that pose a problem?
I think the reason behind this is her depression, even though she takes meds for that.
