Pennsylvania has been a part of this country’s history long before United States was founded. Surprisingly incidents pertaining to methamphetamine and meth lab activity have dropped significantly in Pennsylvania. Meth lab arrests and incidents spiked in 2004 at 106 then dropped over the next three years to eleven. Nearly ten percent of federal drug arrests in 2006 involved marijuana, with Pennsylvania drug detection teams seizing 377,856 grams that same year. Federal drug seizures were accountable for confiscating 571.5 Kilograms of marijuana in 2007. Rehab admissions to Pennsylvania treatment centers have increased along with other states throughout the country. Those states with relaxed medical marijuana laws are experiencing as much as on average a 30% increase in marijuana rehab treatment admissions.
